Audiovisual materials allow us to see the human and environmental impact of the Tijuana River beyond mere data and reports. Through images and testimonies, these productions bring to light the conditions of the territory, the voices of its inhabitants and the efforts to transform it.

PREVENCASA A.C.

An NGO dedicated to implementing actions that improve the health of people in vulnerable situations. Its harm reduction approach is based on a strong commitment to public health and human rights and helps protect people from preventable diseases and overdose deaths, as well as connecting marginalized individuals with social and health services.

'Support. Don't punish'

A grassroots, global initiative promoting harm reduction and drug policies that prioritize public health and human rights. The campaign seeks to integrate harm reduction into the political agenda by strengthening the mobilization capacity of affected communities and their allies, fostering dialogue with policy makers and raising awareness among the media and the public.

Dissertation title: “Water, Sanitation and Hygiene Access, Insecurity and Inequalities, Including Menstrual Health, and Their Association with Abscess Incidence.” This dissertation was conducted at the intersection between environmental health and substance use, including approaches to human rights, infectious diseases, gender equity and menstrual health.
