Environmental Actions

The environmental objectives of the Tijuana River Socio-Environmental Project are geared towards reducing the sources of pollution affecting the river and its watershed. These actions encompass water management, sanitation, treatment and reuse infrastructure, industrial discharge control, solid waste management, and the promotion of green infrastructure. Its purpose is to move towards a healthier, more resilient and sustainable environment for the city and its ecosystems.
