Physical disabilities

Poster AMERSA Measuring the Prevalence of Disabilities Among Unhoused PWID (1)_page-0001.j

Currently, research is being conducted to understand the living conditions of people with physical disabilities and how various factors, such as constant contact with water or a lack of adequate infrastructure, can influence their health and mobility.

The study analyzes the possible causes that aggravate these conditions, as well as the contexts in which people are most exposed to physical and environmental risks.

Access to basic services

Currently, an analysis is being conducted on hygiene and sanitation, and how the lack of access to the most basic services, such as drinking water, electricity, drainage, decent housing and infrastructure, influences the conditions of the environment, the quality of life and the social vulnerability of the people who live in this area.
